Mushirabad

Mushirabad is one of the northern suburban areas in the Hyderabad city. Mushirabad has been lately coming up as one of the best residential places in the city. The place is located towards the north of the city and adjacent to the Mushirabad Road. Area wise the region is one of the leading in the city and that calls for a special attention as the place does not have too many commercial establishments. The commercial necessities are provided by the regions further north and beyond the railway lines.

Sanjivapuram, Panjagutta and Bansilal Pet are some popular localities in the township. The Mushirabad Mosque is one of the popular attractions located here. The grand mosque built by Abdullah Qutb Shah withholds its beauty and grandiosity. Rising from the ground are two lofty minarets. The facade of the mosque has five great arches that lead to the inside of the holy place.

Mushirabad has been gathering special attention and it might happen soon that the place would be crowded with IT parks. The strategic location and the availability of space is one good factor for its gaining importance. The race has already begun but the resources available at Mushirabad are still to be exploited.

To cater to the segments of population residing in the township, are present many small establishments. Small stores, schools and worshipping places are well provided. There are establishments, however, in the township and nearby that deserve a mention here. The Fergusson College at Sanjivapuram, Childrens Park near Kavadiguda Road, Viecroy Hotel at the confluence of Kavadi Road and Tankbund Road, Azad Hind Hotel in Gandhinagar are some institutions that are more than referral points. Towards the south west of Mushirabad lies the popular Indira Park. To the east of the place and not more than a kilometre is the beautiful lake, Hussain Sagar.
